    I was supposed to read this for a conference I attended, and didn t finish it oops Luckily, the speaker basically reiterated the book in his presentation, so I wasn t too far out of the loop.This is a very slim volume, marketed to church leaders but definitely geared toward pastors It s a United Methodist pair of pastors, so it does have that denominational spin, but not so much that it s not helpful to other groups It does focus heavily on Berlin s church, Floris UMC, to the point that it almos [...]

    There are some pearls of wisdom in here but the suggestions on how to cultivate the harvest within a local church fit the older generations of the church I m far interested in how we create that space for those under 40 and this book doesn t offer that wisdom.
